ASADA Hiroshi Retrospective

ASADA HiroshiASADA Hiroshi (1931-1997), whose father (ASADA Benji) and older brother (ASADA Takashi) are both renowned nihonga (Japanese-style paintings) artists, made repeated presentations of his works to the Shinseisaku Association and thereby established a world of serene imagined scenery that can be described as figurative poetry through the medium of painting.  He was a part of the 1965 exhibition of contemporary art at MOMAK.  In commemoration of the tenth anniversary of his death, we present the first retrospective spanning the entirety of his career.
